Job summary

AirTrunk, Australia’s leading hyperscale data centre builder, seeks a Construction Estimator to deliver accurate cost estimates and manage budgets for our rapid expansion projects. You will work with engineering, procurement, and site teams to ensure cost targets are met and documented.

This role requires data-driven analysis, clear cost reporting, and the ability to own cost inputs and performance metrics across a regional program.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost estimation for large-scale construction or data centre projects.
• Ability to document and defend cost estimates with data-driven analysis.
• Strong communication skills with project teams and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Deliver construction estimates to approved cost, time, and quality measures.
• Communicate cost constraints clearly to the project team.
• Collaborate with Engineering Technology & Procurement to drive detailed cost plans.
• Maintain budgets within program and explain overall cost structure.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation across estimating projects.
• Develop standard costs for repeatable builds in the region.
