Job summary

Hype DC is seeking a Christmas Casual to join our stores across Canberra Outlet, Canberra Central, and Belconnen. Bring energy, a can-do attitude and a love for sneakers to help customers find their perfect kicks during our busiest season.

You'll unpack stock, assist customers, pack online orders, and keep shelves stocked while contributing to a high-energy, fast-paced team. Retail experience is a plus, but passion for sneakers and outstanding service matter most.

Qualifications

• Passion for sneakers and delivering outstanding customer service.
• Willingness to work weekends, late nights, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
• Self-motivated and goal-driven.

About The Role

Step into the season in style with Hype DC at our stores across Canberra Outlet, Canberra Central, & Belconnen! As a Christmas Casual, you'll bring energy, good vibes, and a can-do attitude to our busiest (and most fun) time of year.

From helping customers find their perfect kicks to unpacking stock or packing online orders, every shift brings something new. If you love sneakers, fast-paced days, and great people, you’ll fit right in.

Key Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

• Full availability from October 2026 to mid-January 2027, including weekends, late nights, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day
• Retail experience is great, but not a must
• Passion for sneakers, streetwear, and delivering outstanding customer service
• Love the hustle of a fast-paced team environment
• Self-motivated and goal-driven
• Open to learning, feedback, and being your best
