Job summary

Hype DC in Canberra is seeking a Christmas Casual to energize our busiest season. You’ll help customers find kicks, unpack stock, and pack online orders, contributing to a fast-paced, fun store environment.

If sneakers and streetwear are your passion, you’ll fit right in. This role requires full seasonal availability from October 2026 to mid-January 2027, including weekends and late shifts.

Qualifications

• Full availability from Oct 2026 to mid-Jan 2027, including weekends and holidays.
• Retail experience is helpful but not required.
• Passion for sneakers and delivering outstanding customer service.
• Love the hustle of a fast-paced team environment.
• Open to learning and feedback.

Responsibilities

• Create a standout experience for every customer - make it memorable.

• Keep stock moving – receive, restock, and keep shelves full.

About the Role

Step into the season in style with Hype DC at our stores acrossCanberra Outlet, Canberra Central, & Belconnen ! As a Christmas Casual, you'll bring energy, good vibes, and a can-do attitude to our busiest (and most fun) time of year.

From helping customers find their perfect kicks to unpacking stock or packing online orders, every shift brings something new. If you love sneakers, fast-paced days, and great people, you’ll fit right in.

What We're Looking For

• Full availability from October 2026 to mid-January 2027 , including weekends, late nights, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day
• Retail experience is great, but not a must
• Passion for sneakers, streetwear, and delivering outstanding customer service
• Love the hustle of a fast-paced team environment
• Self-motivated and goal-driven
• Open to learning, feedback, and being your best
