Job summary

Snowy Hydro is seeking a Project Improvement and Efficiency Manager to join the Snowy 2.0 team based in Cooma, NSW. You will partner with the Deputy Project Director and main contractors to identify bottlenecks, streamline processes, and eliminate schedule risks across multiple fronts to help achieve the COD safely.

You bring heavy industry or construction experience, especially in civil engineering with MEP installation, and a track record in power generation projects.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in heavy industry or construction (civil with MEP installation preferred).
• Experience in power generation or large-scale infrastructure, especially hydropower.
• Understanding of procurement, construction, and commissioning lifecycle.
• Ability to navigate commercial dynamics between clients and EPC/subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve productivity by analyzing construction data and schedules.
• Collaborate with site teams and project managers to align on goals.
• Champion and implement initiatives, tracking benefits on site.
• Adapt initiatives as project circumstances change using analytical skills.
