Job summary

Snowy Hydro is seeking a Project Improvement and Efficiency Manager for the Snowy 2.0 team based in Cooma, NSW. You will partner with the Deputy Project Director, site teams and main contractors to identify bottlenecks, streamline processes and reduce schedule risks to hit the Commercial Operation Date safely and successfully.

You will leverage your heavy industry and civil engineering experience to improve productivity, manage change, and ensure alignment across the EPC and subcontractor

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy industry or construction; civil engineering background preferred.
• Power generation or large-scale infrastructure experience, especially hydropower, is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to influence stakeholders at site level.
• Ability to drive change, implement initiatives, and track outcomes on the ground.

Responsibilities

• Identify productivity opportunities by analysing construction data, shift reports and project schedules.
• Work with site teams, subject matter experts and project managers to align on goals and actions.
• Influence stakeholders, champion new initiatives and drive their implementation.
• Analyze changing project circumstances and adapt initiatives accordingly.
