Job summary

Snowy Hydro is seeking a Project Manager - Mechanical Installations to lead the end-to-end installation of steel linings (Penstock) for the Snowy 2.0 Power Station Complex. The role requires on-site leadership, coordination of multiple contractors, and ensuring design, installation and safety standards are met.

You will report to the Senior Project Manager Electrical & Mechanical Installations and manage complex greenfield/brownfield interfaces, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, quality,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent site/trade experience.
• Proven track record delivering complex infrastructure projects with multiple interfaces.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Installation Management: direct the steel lining (Penstock) installation scope for power station complex.
• Stakeholder Coordination: act as central point of contact between site teams, remote stakeholders and contractors.
• Quality & Compliance: ensure contractors meet Employer's design and installation requirements.
• Safety Leadership: lead safety integration and ensure site-wide compliance.
