Job summary
Powerflow Systems Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated Workshop & Service Hydraulic Technician to support workshop operations and onsite service activities in Mayfield West NSW. The role offers hands-on hydraulic work with in-house training provided for those with a strong mechanical aptitude.
You will repair hydraulic cylinders, pumps, and valves, perform fault finding, and complete service reports while adhering to HSE standards.
Qualifications
- Cert III Mechanical engineering trade is required.
- Experience in hydraulic repairs/servicing is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Forklift licence is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Repair and service hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, and valves.
- Identify hydraulic components and assist with equipment installation and commissioning.
- Perform fault finding and diagnostics on hydraulic systems.
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and general housekeeping standards.
- Attend onsite field service and breakdown support work as required.
- Complete accurate service reports and job documentation.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to HSE standards and practices.
