Job summary

Kempe Engineering in Brisbane is seeking a Hydraulic Technician to join our team. You will diagnose and repair hydraulic faults on mobile plant and industrial systems, rebuild cylinders, pumps, motors and valves, and read schematics to ensure precise fault diagnosis.

• 3+ years of hands-on hydraulic experience in industrial, mobile or high-pressure systems
• Solid fault-finding ability with logical diagnostics
• Comfortable reading hydraulic schematics
• Current driver’s licence and full Australian work rights

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing hydraulic faults on mobile plant and industrial systems
• Rebuilding cylinders, pumps, motors and directional control valves
• Reading and interpreting hydraulic schematics and circuit diagrams
• Hose assembly, fabrication and high-pressure testing
• Planned preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown response
• Writing clear, accurate service reports and job documentation
