Job summary
Motion Australia is seeking a skilled hydraulic technician to diagnose faults, repair and overhaul hydraulic systems, and install circuits on new and existing equipment. The role combines workshop and on-site work with regular travel throughout New South Wales.
You will need proven fitter experience (Fitter, Machinist, or Diesel Fitter), hydraulic certification preferred, and a valid driver’s licence. We offer market-aligned remuneration and a benefits package including a company vehicle,
Qualifications
- Experience as Fitter/Machinist or Diesel Fitter is essential.
- Certification in Hydraulics is highly regarded.
- Willingness to travel NSW and interstate occasionally.
- Current valid driver’s licence is essential.
- Ability to read hydraulic circuit drawings.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose hydraulic faults using test equipment and hydraulic knowledge.
- Identify and quote components for repair or replacement.
- Repair, overhaul and work with hydraulic systems.
- Install and commission hydraulic circuits on equipment.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Work in both workshop and site environments.
