Job summary

Bosch Rexroth in Kings Park NSW is expanding to a brand-new Marsden Park facility and seeks a Mechanical Fitter – Hydraulic Power Units and Systems for our Production team. This hands-on workshop role covers assembly of hydraulic power units from engineering drawings, hydraulic schematics and technical specs, from fabrication through final assembly.

You will collaborate with Production, Engineering and Electrical teams to deliver quality work on time.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years post-trade experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Fitter-Machinist, Fabricator or similar.
• Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or an equivalent mechanical trade qualification
• Proven experience manufacturing and assembling hydraulic power units from initial fabrication through to final assembly

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and assemble hydraulic power units and systems from engineering drawings, hydraulic schematics and technical specifications.
• Fabrication & welding: light welding, tube bending and other mechanical fabrication for each build.
• Machining: operate lathes and milling machines to modify and finish components.
• Job management & productivity: organise workload across multiple jobs and meet production deadlines.
• Quality & equipment: ensure high quality against specs and maintain tools and workshop equipment.
• Teamwork & communication: work independently and in a team.
