Job summary

Bosch Rexroth Brisbane is seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to design, develop, test and commission advanced control solutions for mobile and industrial hydraulic applications. You will be the technical backbone supporting the sales team and customers with in-depth application understanding while ensuring feasibility, quality and adherence to robust engineering processes.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechatronics, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Proven industrial controller programming experience with CODESYS IEC 61131-3; strong analytical and fault-finding skills.
Experience with Functional Safety, CANBUS & Ethernet Fieldbus; willingness to travel domestically/internationally.

Responsibilities

Translate customer needs into control system designs for mobile and industrial hydraulic machinery.
Design, develop, test, and commission control systems; manage small to mid-size projects; mentor junior engineers.
Uphold engineering quality (PEP-ETO, internal documentation); drive process improvements.
Support component selection, testing, commissioning; create handover docs; travel for system commissioning.
