Job summary

BGS Hydraulics Pty Ltd in Western Sydney is seeking a skilled Hydraulic Fitter to diagnose, repair and maintain hydraulic systems and equipment across customers’ sites. You will assemble, install and commission hydraulic components, read schematics and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Job description

Key responsibilities

Diagnose, repair and maintain hydraulic systems and equipment

Assemble, install and commission hydraulic components and systems

Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and technical drawings

Carry out fault finding and preventative maintenance

Replace and repair hydraulic hoses, valves, pumps, cylinders and associated components

Conduct inspections and identify potential equipment issues

Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment

Complete maintenance records and job documentation

Work effectively both independently and as part of a team

About you

Relevant trade qualification as a Hydraulic Fitter / Fitter & Machinist / Mechanical Fitter

Previous experience working with hydraulic systems

Strong mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding skills

Ability to read hydraulic schematics and technical drawings

A strong commitment to workplace health and safety

Good communication and problem-solving skills

A reliable and positive approach to work

Current driver's licence [if required]
