Job summary

Recruit Personnel in Australia is seeking a qualified Fitter with experience across heavy equipment, hydraulics and pneumatics for a hands-on workshop role. You will install, modify and repair hydraulic components to a high safety standard.

The role offers Day Shift hours Monday to Friday with overtime, commencing immediately. A current forklift ticket and a valid driving licence are highly preferred.

• Experience modifying, adapting and repairing components.
• Ability to work to high safety standards.

Job description

Duties will be performed to a high safety standard and your experience to date, will fall across heavy equipment and ideally include experience in mechanical repairs. You will have the capability to undertake the installation, modification, and repair of hydraulic equipment.

• Basic experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
• Current Drivers Licence and transport
• Experience in modifying, adapting and repairing components
• Diagnostic skills would be handy
• Forklift Ticket is an advantage

On offer is Day Shift workshop hours, which will be Monday to Friday, full time with overtime available in some cases. The role offers an attractive hourly rate with availability to commence immediately.
