Job summary

WSP Australia’s Sydney Building Services team is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Engineer to lead a range of projects across transport, defence and commercial sectors. You will own hydraulic design from concept through construction and mentor developing engineers.

You’ll operate in a flexible, hybrid environment with strong collaboration and client-facing responsibilities. The role offers varied projects and long-term career growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as a Hydraulic Engineer in a building services consultancy.
• Experience delivering large-scale, complex projects.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC and authority requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead hydraulic design and delivery across a diverse portfolio.
• Own hydraulic design from concept to construction.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Coordinate with other building services disciplines, architects and external consultants.
• Review designs and site works to ensure quality, compliance and constructability.
