We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Engineer to join a high-performing Sydney Building Services team, stepping into a key role delivering a range of projects across multiple sectors, including transport, mission critical, defence and commercial.

The Role

In this role, you will:

• Lead the hydraulic design and delivery of projects across a diverse portfolio
• Take end-to-end ownership of hydraulic design from concept through to construction
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developing engineers
• Coordinate closely with other building services disciplines, architects and external consultants
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients and project stakeholders
• Review designs, documentation and site works to ensure quality, compliance and constructability

You will contribute across a varied project portfolio including health, education, defence, commercial and transport, offering strong project diversity and long-term career stability.

About You

You will bring:

• 3+ years’ experience as a Hydraulic Engineer within a building services consultancy
• Proven experience delivering complex, large-scale projects
• Strong technical capability and sound knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC and authority requirements
• Confidence leading design packages and managing priorities across multiple stakeholders
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative, client-focused approach
