Capstone Recruitment is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Digital Professional to join its Brisbane team. This role blends hydraulic engineering with digital delivery, placing you at the centre of how projects are designed and delivered.

You will work on complex projects across Defence, Health, Education and Infrastructure, delivering model-led hydraulic designs, developing Revit models, coordinating BIM workflows, and mentoring junior team members in digital delivery practices.

A well-regarded engineering and advisory consultancy is looking for an experienced Hydraulic Digital Professional to join its Brisbane team. If you enjoy combining hydraulic engineering expertise with digital delivery, this role puts you at the centre of how projects are designed and delivered.

You will join a nationally connected team working on complex projects across Defence, Health, Education and Infrastructure. Sitting at the intersection of hydraulic design and BIM, you will support high-quality outcomes through model-led delivery and coordination, while helping to strengthen the firm’s digital capability across the country.

What you will be doing

• Delivering hydraulic designs using a model-led BIM approach
• Developing and managing Revit models and digital documentation
• Supporting the design of hydraulic systems, including water, sewer, stormwater and drainage services
• Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve fully integrated BIM delivery
• Carrying out clash detection, model reviews and coordination workshops
• Contributing to digital standards, workflows and continuous improvement initiatives
• Working closely with engineers, clients and contractors to deliver project outcomes
• Mentoring and supporting junior team members in BIM and digital delivery practices
• Attending project meetings and site inspections, and contributing to project reporting
• Championing best-practice digital engineering and modelling across projects

About you

• Building services hydraulic experience, ideally 5 or more years
• Strong capability in Revit and BIM workflows
• A solid understanding of Level of Detail (LOD), coordination processes and digital delivery standards
• Knowledge of Australian Standards, the NCC (BCA) and hydraulic services requirements
• A genuine interest in bridging the gap between engineering design and digital modelling
• Clear communication across teams, disciplines and project stakeholders
• A proactive, detail-focused approach and a commitment to high-quality outcomes
• Curiosity, initiative and a continuous improvement mindset
• Australian citizenship is required for this role
