Job summary

AIM Consultant Engineers is seeking a Hydraulic Engineer in Sydney, NSW. The role involves designing, reviewing, and optimizing hydraulic systems for commercial and residential projects, with a focus on accurate layouts and calculations.

You will prepare documentation and coordinate with mechanical and other building services to ensure compliant, cost-effective outcomes. The position is full-time and hybrid, based in Sydney, offering collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and engagement

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of hydraulic systems and building hydraulic design.
• Experience in Water Engineering and Water Resource Management.
• Understanding of Hydrology principles for urban developments and flood mitigation.
• Background in Mechanical Engineering to coordinate hydraulic designs with mechanical services.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil/ Hydraulic/ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, review, and optimize hydraulic systems for building projects.
• Develop hydraulic layouts and perform calculations.
• Prepare technical documentation and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Support project managers with design queries and tender/construction phases.
