Job summary

Talent International is seeking an experienced Workforce Modeller to join a major Federal Government transformation program in Australia. The role provides technical leadership across workforce modelling, forecasting and analytics to translate policy and operational challenges into evidence-based workforce solutions.

The successful candidate will design models, forecasts and analytical solutions, mentor analysts, and engage with senior stakeholders to support reform priorities.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in workforce modelling, forecasting and analytics.
• Ability to translate policy and operational questions into practical models.
• Experience building maintainable analytical products using Microsoft tools.
• Strong documentation, testing and governance practices.
• Proven capability to lead and mentor analysts.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Australian Citizenship is a mandatory requirement.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain workforce models, forecasts and analytical solutions.
• Translate complex requirements into scalable technical products.
• Develop implementation scenarios and analytical insights for executive decisions.
• Apply advanced problem-solving and systems thinking in a Microsoft environment.
• Establish technical standards across QA, testing and governance.
• Build reusable modelling frameworks and adaptable solutions.
• Mentor analysts and strengthen the workforce modelling capability.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to communicate findings and manage risks.
