Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action VIC is seeking a Senior Advisor for Forest Fire Assets and Resources in Victoria. The role involves delivering trusted advice to the Executive Director and coordinating governance, planning, budgets and performance across a high-profile branch.

You will prepare briefings, support decision-making, and contribute to initiatives that strengthen emergency management capability and preparedness across the state.

Formación

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in public administration and/or related portfolio content are advantageous but not essential.
• An understanding of the processes and principles that apply to government is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Provide trusted advice and support to the Executive Director across governance, strategic planning, organisational performance, budget development, business improvement and executive coordination.
• Prepare high-quality briefings and correspondence; coordinate governance processes and support executive decision-making on critical matters.
• Work closely with senior leaders to influence strategic outcomes and strengthen Victoria's emergency management capability and preparedness.
