Job summary

City of Ryde is seeking an experienced leader to oversee the Council’s waste services contract administration and resource recovery projects. You will provide strategic direction, lead a small team, and collaborate with contractors, industry representatives and the community to improve service delivery, reduce contamination and advance circular economy outcomes.

You will monitor contractor performance, analyse data and audits, and contribute to policy development and NSW resource recovery

Qualifications

• Experience delivering resource recovery, waste management or environmental sustainability programs.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading teams to deliver customer and operational outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee waste services contract administration and resource recovery projects.
• Lead contractor performance monitoring and KPI management.
• Analyse operational data, conduct audits and provide insights for improvement.
• Lead community education and behaviour change initiatives.
