Job summary

Transport For NSW is hiring a Customer Insights Analyst to generate and communicate customer, mobility and network insights that guide decisions across transport modes. You will design dashboards, analytical models and tools that turn complex data into practical recommendations, helping improve services for NSW customers.

You will work on-site from Macquarie Park with hybrid options, collaborating with data, engineering and business teams to deliver high-quality analytics in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Experience in data analytics, customer insights, and performance reporting.
Strong SQL skills and ability to write/optimise complex queries.
Proficiency with Python or R for analysis and data visualisation tools such as Tableau/Power BI.

Responsibilities

Generate, analyse and communicate customer, mobility and network insights to inform decisions across transport modes.
Identify trends within large datasets and translate findings into practical recommendations.
Design, develop and maintain dashboards and analytical models for clear understanding.
Build analytical tools and frameworks to strengthen organisational capability.
Collaborate with data, engineering and business teams in an agile environment.
Support rapid-response analysis for high-profile business and ministerial requests.
