Job summary

Challenger Limited, an ASX-listed investment management firm, seeks a Technical Business Analyst to map registry ETL processes and define technical requirements. You will work with business BAs, product owners and technical specialists to translate complex system behaviour into clear mappings and downstream outputs.

In this role you review priority requirements, identify gaps, and clarify rules and dependencies before making changes. Three days in Sydney CBD and two days from home are typical.

Qualifications

Financial-services experience is essential.
Experience with registry-related ETL and data integration is preferred.
Ability to translate complex system behaviour into clear technical requirements.

Responsibilities

Investigate registry-related ETLs with technical specialists and clarify rules.
Map data between systems and document transformation rules and timing.
Trace end-to-end data flows and define data quality and ownership needs.
Run workshops to resolve technical questions and assess impact on downstream systems.
Define acceptance criteria and validation scenarios with developers and testers.
Improve Confluence documentation with clear mappings and decisions.
