Job summary

Australia Post is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (DevOps - Ingress) to maintain and optimize our cloud-based ingress platforms across AWS/Azure/GCP. You will build and operate resilient services, implement automation, and partner with Security, Architecture and Delivery teams to strengthen edge security.

You’ll work hands-on across cloud, automation, and observability while embracing a flexible hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

Hands-on SRE/DevOps experience supporting business-critical ingress platforms.
Strong hybrid-cloud experience with ingress tech including CDN, WAF, DNS and edge protection.
Proficiency with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with monitoring/observability tools (New Relic, Datadog, Splunk).
A relevant IT or software engineering degree is desirable.

Responsibilities

Engineer, operate and improve Public/Edge Ingress platforms across cloud providers.
Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and drive automation via CI/CD.
Manage ingress and edge security services including CDN, WAF, DNS, TLS, API gateways and traffic management.
Partner with Security, Architecture and Delivery teams to implement ingress security controls and guardrails.
Troubleshoot complex platform issues and contribute to incident response and continuous service improvement.
