Job summary

AUSCERT, based at Long Pocket, is seeking a Senior Software Developer to lead high-level software development and provide technical guidance for cybersecurity systems. You will contribute to design, deployment, and maintenance of critical platforms within a collaborative, inclusive team.

You will bring strong Python development skills (Django/NiceGUI), experience with relational and NoSQL databases, and hands-on AWS/Azure deployment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting complex software applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, deploy, and maintain IT systems and supporting infrastructure.
• Lead the design and development of significant software projects and provide technical expertise across software architecture, deployment, and maintenance.
• Investigate, evaluate and adopt emerging technologies and processes to support continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
