Job summary

Tallentire O'Flynn Movsowitz is seeking a tenured Payroll Manager to backfill a substantive role for a minimum of 12 months on a fixed-term basis, reporting to the Head of People Operations.

You will lead a hybrid team, optimise payroll processes, ensure compliance, manage statutory deductions, and partner with cross-functional stakeholders on governance and reporting. Experience with Dayforce, Workday or SAP SuccessFactors is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience leading payroll operations for a large organisation.
• Experience integrating HRIS with payroll systems.
• Strong governance, controls and compliance knowledge.
• Knowledge of Australian payroll regulations and awards.

Responsibilities

• Drive fortnightly payroll cycle delivery within deadlines.
• Process updates and adjustments, ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Design, implement and monitor payroll controls and procedures.
• Manage statutory deductions, superannuation, payroll tax and workers' compensation.
• Interpret awards and Enterprise Agreements; resolve complex payroll queries.
• Provide reporting and analytics on Payroll Operations and governance.
