Job summary

Datacom is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our Adelaide team. You will deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing network services across complex customer environments, mentor engineers, and drive improvements in operational excellence.

You will manage day-to-day operations, lead incident resolution, and collaborate across vendors, carriers, and internal teams to ensure services align with business needs.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years hands-on networking experience.
• CCNP/CCSE/CCIE or equivalent certifications.
• Australian citizenship with the ability to obtain NV1 clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational management of enterprise networks.
• Lead investigations and resolution of network incidents and requests.
• Analyse performance data to improve reliability and security.
• Implement and optimise network hardware and software.
• Plan changes with risk assessments and rollback steps.
• Document technical records and operational procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors/carriers to meet SLAs.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to operational excellence.
• Contribute to network service improvements and reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver effective outcomes.
