Job summary

Australian Ethical Investment Ltd seeks a Senior Finance Analyst to join the Business Performance team on a 12-month maximum-term contract, supporting the CFO, Head of Investor Relations and executive leadership. Qualifications

• CA/CPA/CIMA qualified with 7+ years in financial services.
• Experience across management accounting, performance reporting, financial modelling and analysis.
• Strong Excel modelling capability with forecasts, budgets and drivers.
• Ability to produce clear internal and external communications for senior audiences.
• Experience working with senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Understanding of investment products, markets and regulatory requirements; superannuation/investment experience preferred.
• Proactive, detail-oriented mindset and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive Board and management reporting quality and accessibility.
• Support monthly profit forecast and annual budget cycle with stakeholders.
• Contribute to external reporting including ASX announcements with verified evidence.
• Generate data-driven insights identifying opportunities, risks and trends.
• Deliver sensitivity analyses, projections and financial models for business impact.
• Collaborate with the business to reflect performance trends in forecasts and budgets.
• Support strategy implementation by defining success metrics and reporting progress.
• Provide decision support across strategy analysis, cost-benefit, ROI, market insights and cross-company projects.
