Job summary

Marsh is seeking a Consultant – Analytics Solutions to join our Risk Consulting Pacific team in Australia. This hybrid role requires three days in the office weekly and partners with clients, brokers and internal stakeholders to deliver actionable risk analytics and clear recommendations.

You will work across complex actuarial matters, contribute to development of onshore and offshore capability, mentor junior team members, and help grow the practice through trusted relationships.

Qualifications

• Relevant actuarial or broader insurance industry experience, ideally with general insurance exposure.
• Experience in insurer or consulting environments.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships and guiding decisions under uncertainty.

Responsibilities

• Deliver actuarial and risk analytics work across client engagements with a high standard of quality and professionalism.
• Work directly with clients, external brokers, and senior stakeholders to support trusted relationships and strong service delivery.
• Translate technical findings into clear, practical insights for clients and colleagues.
• Apply sound judgement to complex business and risk issues and make balanced recommendations where there is no single perfect answer.
• Coordinate effectively across onshore and offshore team members to support delivery and collaboration.
• Support, mentor, and at times manage junior team members as the practice grows.
• Contribute to client relationship management and business development activity as appropriate.
