Job summary

Marsh McLennan is seeking an Actuarial Consultant to join the Risk Consulting Pacific team. The hybrid role can be based in Sydney CBD or Melbourne CBD, with at least three days a week in the office.

You will deliver actuarial and risk analytics to clients, engaging across industries and communicating technical insights clearly. You will develop modelling skills for client projects, execute end-to-end engagements, and build trusted relationships while identifying opportunities to improve

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills to present ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently with multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in actuarial reserving, pricing or loss modelling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply actuarial modelling skills for client projects.
• Deliver end-to-end client engagements with quality and timeliness.
• Communicate insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Build and maintain trusted client relationships across industries.
• Identify opportunities to improve business outcomes through analytics and advisory support.
• Contribute to projects such as actuarial reserving, pricing, loss modelling and risk reviews.
