Job summary

Info-Tech Research Group in Sydney, NSW is seeking an Account Executive to drive revenue growth in the Public Sector. This role combines in-office and remote work, four days in the Sydney office and one day remote.

You will generate new business through prospecting, lead generation, and strategic presentations to senior IT executives, while aligning Info-Tech's products and services with customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• 5+ years of frontline B2B sales experience with a track record of meeting sales objectives.
• Willingness to learn about product and customer and articulate value proposition.
• Excellent communication and sales proficiency across the full sales cycle.
• Strong active listening and persuasive communication with senior executives.
• Solid organizational and time management skills with ability to handle multiple deals.
• Persistence, resilience, and a solutions‑driven mindset.
• Business savvy with IT/business services context.
• Background in advisory, information, or business services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify, engage, and acquire potential Public Sector clients within the designated region.
• Prospecting, lead generation, cold calling, and leading sales presentations to prospects.
• Demonstrate the value proposition of Info-Tech products/services to senior IT executives.
• Achieve and exceed predefined sales objectives and performance metrics.
