Job summary

RPS Alice Springs is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the local project management practice. You will provide strategic leadership, nurture client relationships, and drive financial performance across a growing portfolio, reporting to the General Manager as part of the NT leadership team.

You’ll shape the business plan, mentor staff, recruit top talent, and ensure high-quality, complex infrastructure projects are delivered on time and to budget, while promoting a collaborative,

Qualifications

• 15+ years of construction and/or project management experience.
• Experience in a client-side, contractor or design consultant leadership role delivering large-scale, infrastructure projects $100M+.
• Proven track record in project and/or people leadership.
• Business development, strategic client engagement and securing new work.
• Financial management, responsible for P&L and reporting.
• Deep understanding of contemporary construction, engineering, and project delivery methodologies.
• Experience in contract management.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Eligible for Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance is essential with current NV1 Clearance or higher would be viewed favourably.
• AIPM Certified Practising Project Director certification or equivalent would be viewed favourably.
