Job summary

RPS, a Tetra Tech company, seeks a client-side Project Manager in Alice Springs to drive delivery of building, property and infrastructure projects. The role is full-time and permanent, working with government and private sector clients to deliver successful outcomes.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years' recent construction project experience, professional PM qualifications, and strong contract administration skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project experience; underground infrastructure desirable.
• Qualifications in project management, architecture, engineering, construction management or similar.
• Experience managing contracts and contract administration; contractor management desirable.
• Strong client and stakeholder management and leadership skills.
• Excellent reporting/writing skills; proficient in MS Office and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building, property and infrastructure projects for government and private clients.
• Lead client engagement, reporting and governance across projects.
• Manage contracts, changes and compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate stakeholders and multi-disciplinary teams to achieve outcomes.
• Provide mentorship and ensure timely, on-budget delivery.

RPS is looking for a motivated and experienced client-side Project Manager to join our Alice Springs team in a full-time, permanent role. Working across a diverse range of Building, Property and Infrastructure projects, you will partner with government and private sector clients to deliver successful project outcomes.

What you'll need to succeed

• 5+ years of demonstrated recent construction project experience with underground infrastructure project experience desirable.
• Professional qualifications in project management, architectural, engineering, construction management or similar.
• A good understanding and proven experience in managing construction contracts and contract administration, with managing contractor contract experience is highly desirable.
• Good client and stakeholder management, as well as leadership skills.
• Well-developed spoken and reporting/ writing skills with strong competence in computer software including the ability to use the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with Microsoft Project desirable.
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
• Completed construction site health and safety course.
• AIPM Certified Practising Project Manager certification or equivalent would be viewed favourably.
• Australian citizenship and holding or successfully obtaining and retaining a minimum Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance.
