Chubb in Sydney is seeking a dynamic leader to manage an underwriting team within our Central Services Cyber & Tech IP division. You will champion service excellence, coach brokers, and drive the team to achieve financial objectives.

Responsibilities include overseeing staff management, performance reviews, portfolio performance, pricing, and adherence to guidelines, while building a high-performing team and delivering strong GWP and retention outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in insurance, cyber or technology package products.
• Strong leadership with the ability to coach and develop a team.
• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven project management and organisational skills.
• Experience delivering process improvements and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the Cyber & Tech IP underwriting team.
• Shape a high-quality broker experience with service excellence.
• Lead staff management: goals, reviews, planning, compensation, compliance.
• Drive platform performance: onboarding, pricing, appetite settings.
• Monitor portfolio performance and support Product Managers with analysis.
• Deliver team financial targets: GWP, retention, rate and loss ratio.
