Job summary

Water Technology Pty Ltd is seeking a Hydrogeologist to join our Perth groundwater team, delivering projects across WA and nationally. You will work with experienced hydrogeologists, contributing to field investigations, data analysis, reporting and model development in a collaborative setting.

The role offers fieldwork and development opportunities in a supportive, employee-owned firm with flexible hybrid arrangements and ongoing professional training.

Qualifications

• Degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Earth Sciences, Environmental Science or related field.
• 2–5 years' experience in hydrogeology or related environment/geoscience field.
• Understanding of groundwater systems and hydrogeological principles.
• Experience with groundwater monitoring, field investigations, drilling supervision and bore tests.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and report-writing skills.
• Experience using GIS or data analysis tools is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to undertake fieldwork and hold a current Australian driver licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist groundwater investigations, monitoring programs and drilling activities.
• Collect, analyse and interpret hydrogeological and water quality data.
• Support groundwater sampling, bore installation and aquifer pumping tests.
• Prepare technical reports, figures, maps and data summaries.
• Assist with hydrogeological assessments and conceptual groundwater models.
• Support project delivery and planning of field activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
