Job summary

Data#3, an ASX200 listed company headquartered in Brisbane, is seeking a payroll specialist to own end-to-end payroll processing using Aurion for our permanent and contract workforce. You’ll be based at our Toowong head office with a mix of in-office and work-from-home days.

Join a small, high‑performing team within People & Culture, collaborating with finance, legal and HR to ensure accurate, timely pay runs and continuous improvement in payroll processes.

Qualifications

• Proven end-to-end payroll processing experience.
• Knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and tax regulations across states.
• Skilled in award interpretation and compliance.
• Excellent reporting and communication skills.
• Attention to detail; collaborative and agile working style.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and Fortnightly payroll for 500–1,000 employees across two companies.
• Use Aurion payroll software for end-to-end processing.
• Manage queries and award interpretation.
• Process employee updates (new hires, pay rate changes, internal transfers).
• Support portal and onboarding functions; maintain accurate records.
• Drive continuous improvement in payroll processes; collaborate with finance, legal and HR.
