Job summary

Randstad partners with a large global powerhouse across Australia seeking a proactive Payroll Supervisor to join their Mascot team. The role offers a flexible hybrid working model with on-site parking and a busy, hands-on environment.

You will oversee weekly, fortnightly and monthly pay runs for 5,000+ employees across retail, corporate and logistics, mentor colleagues, ensure compliance with EBAs and Modern Awards, and lead system audits and process improvements using modern payroll platforms.

Qualifications

Proven hands-on experience with high-volume payroll in a large organisation.
Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, EBAs and Modern Awards.
Experience with Workday, UKG Dimensions, or Sage Micropay is preferred.
Able to mentor and coach payroll colleagues.

Responsibilities

Oversee weekly, fortnightly, and monthly pay runs for 5,000+ employees.
Handle data entry, master file changes, leave, terminations, and ad-hoc runs.
Ensure compliance with Award and EBA.
Lead month-end reporting, GL journals, and reconciliations (PAYG, payroll tax, superannuation, workers' comp).
Develop payroll procedures and support system audits.
Mentor payroll colleagues to support professional growth.
