Job summary

Maddocks is seeking an Associate/Lawyer (2-5 PQE) to join the Dispute Resolution & Litigation team in Sydney. You will handle a diverse range of matters including commissions, inquiries, competition and consumer law, IP disputes and defamation, advising private and public sector clients.

You will work with leading partners, receive mentoring, and be part of a collaborative team focused on professional growth and delivering high-quality litigation work.

Qualifications

• Significant broad litigation experience (advisory, mediation, hearings and litigation).
• Strong drafting and research skills.
• Impressive academic qualifications.
• Engaging manner with excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Well-developed negotiation skills and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Involved in a diverse range of litigation matters for private and public sector clients.
• Work closely with senior partners to deliver sound, practical advice.
