Janus Henderson Investors in Sydney, Australia, is seeking an Investment Performance Analyst to support production, validation and analysis of investment performance for portfolios and mandates. Based in Sydney, you will partner with regional and global colleagues to deliver accurate, timely information for investment teams, client reporting and internal stakeholders.

Competenze

• Experience in investment performance, attribution, fund accounting or related analytical work.
• Knowledge of NAV, valuation and market data as they affect performance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and large data sets.
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise tasks in a controlled environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication to explain analysis.
• Willingness to work across functions, locations and time zones.
• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience in finance, economics, mathematics, accounting or related discipline.

Mansioni

• Validate and review daily, monthly and periodic investment performance returns and attribution outputs.
• Investigate performance, attribution and benchmark exceptions, documenting root causes.
• Perform reasonability checks on portfolio returns and attribution results with clear analysis for movements.
• Support delivery of data used in client reports, factsheets and internal reviews.
• Respond to performance queries from multiple teams and escalate complex matters.
• Maintain process documentation in line with internal standards.
• Contribute to data quality improvements, automation and reducing manual work.
• Assist with testing and implementation of platform, methodology and reporting changes.
• Collaborate with regional and global teams across Performance, Accounting, Data and Tech.
