Janus Henderson Investors in Australia seeks a specialist to manage Investment Data Operations, security setup and master data while owning critical regulatory reporting activities.

You will partner with Investment Desk, Middle Office and compliance teams, shaping governance, data quality and end-to-end reporting, including regulatory obligations under ASIC RG rules. Hybrid work and global program involvement are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in investment management operations or regulatory reporting in a regulated financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of security master and reference data, including security setup, issuer, broker, counterparty and investment data flows across front-to-back investment processes.
• Experience designing and operating data quality controls, reconciliations, governance, audit evidence and incident remediation.
• Strong working knowledge of Australian investment management regulation and reporting, including ASIC reporting obligations and regulatory control expectations.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day investment data operations for security setup and security master data.
• Be the on-the-ground point of contact for the Investment Desk, Middle Office and other stakeholders.
• Design and operate data quality controls, reconciliations, exception management and governance processes.
• Conduct root-cause analysis on master data and reporting issues, implement corrective actions.
• Own the end-to-end Australian regulatory reporting framework, calendar, procedures, controls and evidence.
• Lead ASIC derivative transaction reporting under RG 251 and oversee related reporting activities.
• Coordinate RG 97 transaction fees and costs reporting for Australian funds and client requests.
• Own ASIC threshold and substantial holding reporting, including short selling reporting.
• Collaborate with APRA-related investment reporting for Australian clients.
• Act as SME for new funds, mandates, products, custodians and service providers.
