Job summary

AECOM’s GIS Team in Sydney is seeking a driven spatial systems professional to support GIS requirements across sectors. You will handle mapping, GIS analysis, web applications, data management, and metadata maintenance for infrastructure and environment projects.

We welcome 2–5 years of GIS experience, strong ArcGIS skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced consultancy. Hybrid work options and global project exposure offer development and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional GIS experience.
• Experience applying GIS in infrastructure/environmental contexts.
• Strong skills in spatial data management and analysis.
• Exposure to ArcGIS Online, Survey123, and Python scripting.

Responsibilities

• Provide mapping, GIS analysis, and web applications support.
• Manage data and metadata; deploy field data collection tools.
• Offer day-to-day GIS support to project teams; troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain and support enterprise GIS platforms and spatial databases.
