Job summary
AECOM’s GIS Team in Sydney is seeking a Junior GIS Analyst to support mapping, GIS analysis, data management and metadata maintenance across Transport, Environment, Water, Energy and Building & Places projects. You will assist with field data collection tools and provide technical GIS support, contributing to enterprise platforms and web applications.
Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in GIS, strong ArcGIS Pro/ArcMap skills, data management experience and a collaborative, detail‑oriented approach
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Spatial Science or related field.
- Strong GIS skills including mapping, analysis and cartography.
- Experience with ArcGIS Pro/ArcMap and data management.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day GIS requirements across projects.
- Perform mapping and GIS analysis for infrastructure, environment and planning tasks.
- Develop and maintain metadata and data management practices.
- Support field data collection tools and mobile data capture.
- Provide technical GIS user support and troubleshooting.
