Job summary

Nearmap is seeking a Solutions Engineer to act as a trusted technical advisor across the full customer lifecycle, from pre-sales discovery to post-sale adoption. You will collaborate with Sales to run strategic engagements, design demos, and ensure successful integration of Nearmap imagery, 3D, and AI products for customers in Australia and beyond.

The role requires a geospatial background, API proficiency, and strong presentation skills to communicate with engineers and C-suite executives

Qualifications

3–5 years in a customer-facing technical role.
Proven pre-sales track record influencing technical buying decisions.
Strong communication with executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic discovery engagements to understand workflows and data ecosystems.
Act as trusted advisor shaping client strategy and solution architecture.
Design and deliver tailored demos and scalable demonstrations of Nearmap products.
Identify upsell opportunities and advise on API, offline product, and custom applications.
Lead integration and onboarding for new customers with hands-on support.
Represent customer feedback to Product and Engineering and partner with Sales Enablement on training.
