Job summary

Anton Murray Consulting is seeking a Manager - Financial Reporting for Fund & Trusts in Sydney. This 12-month contract will lead a specialist team, oversee client reporting, and ensure timely delivery of financial statements and APRA reporting in line with SLAs.

Based in Sydney CBD with hybrid work options, the role requires 8+ years in financial reporting, strong accounting skills, and proven leadership. CPA/CA is highly desirable for the candidate.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in financial reporting, preferably funds management.
• Strong technical accounting and financial analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• CPA or CA qualification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage Senior Financial Accountants for client portfolios and SLA reviews.
• Ensure client profiles are maintained and agreed with stakeholders.
• Deliver accurate and timely reporting in line with SLAs.
• Resolve client queries and escalate to Head of Financial Reporting & Tax Services as needed.
• Test templates, processes and system changes for compliance.
• Provide transition support for new portfolios or restructures.
• Supervise procedures and perform risk-based self-assessments.
• Drive efficiency initiatives to reduce operational risk.
• Train and develop staff within the team.
• Support the wider team during peak periods and act as cover.
