Job summary

Hyre. is seeking a Client Test Lead in Sydney to lead testing for client implementations in a hybrid setup. This role is hands-on QA with strong client-facing and leadership elements, coordinating manual testing, test automation, defects, and release testing across delivery teams.

The position is 6 months fixed-term initially, Sydney-based with flexible WFH/hybrid working, and offers AUD 130-140K plus Super.

Qualifications

5+ years' experience in manual testing and test automation.
Strong communication and professionalism, particularly when working with external clients.
Experience with low‑code test automation tools, ideally Testim.io
Good understanding of web and application architectures.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong understanding of the software testing lifecycle and different testing types.
Experience translating business requirements into test cases.
Experience managing defects and the defect lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Lead the testing effort for client implementations, ensuring the technology is properly tested before go-live.
Hands-on QA role with client-facing and leadership components, managing client expectations.
Coordinate across manual testing, test automation, defect management and release testing with clients and internal delivery teams.
