Job summary

RSK Environment Australia PTY Ltd. in Sydney’s CBD is seeking a Financial Accountant to support accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting across RSK-owned businesses. This hybrid role sits at the Head Office and reports to the Head of Finance.

You will prepare monthly financial reports, maintain general ledgers, produce P&L and balance sheets, manage reconciliations, journals, fixed assets and intercompany processes, and liaise with external advisors.

Qualifications

• Assist with the preparation of accurate monthly financial reports in accordance with Accounting Standards and internal reporting requirements
• Maintain general ledgers across multiple RSK businesses, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and on time
• Prepare profit and loss statements, balance sheets and supporting schedules for RSK businesses
• Prepare intercompany, balance sheet, month-end and year-end reconciliations, ensuring reconciling items are investigated and resolved promptly
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports, analysis and information requests for management as required
• Prepare and process monthly journals, maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
• Process supplier and client invoices, expense claims, and related supplier and expense claim payments
• Provide accurate and timely information to external tax advisors, auditors and other professional advisors
• Update daily bank balance reporting for the UK finance team
