Job summary

Compass Group Pty Limited seeks a Chef Manager for a rural NSW site, offering a hybrid Chef and Site Management role. FIFO from Sydney or DIDO if local to the Cobar region.

Expect an 8 days on, 6 days off roster with a salary up to AU$125,000 plus Superannuation, with meals and accommodation provided on-site. You will oversee daily site operations, manage accommodation and village services, and lead a small team while hands-on cooking for guests.

Qualifications

• Lead and develop a small team environment
• Strong experience with budgets, costs and inventory
• Proven food safety and HACCP compliance experience
• Commercial management including Budgets, P&L etc.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations, accommodation and village services.
• Prepare, cook and serve quality meals in line with menu plans and dietary requirements.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and HACCP compliance standards.
• Monitor budgets, costs and inventory requirements.
• Maintain a strong safety culture in line with HSEQ policies.
• Foster strong relationships with client and on-site teams.
