Job summary

Crawford is seeking an External Claims Adjuster to manage a diverse portfolio of property claims across the Orange region, from notification through settlement. You will work with an experienced regional team, enjoying autonomy, variety, and opportunities to develop your expertise while delivering positive outcomes for customers and clients.

Responsibilities include inspecting damage, investigating causes, reviewing coverage, and coordinating trades and service providers.

Qualifications

• Experience in loss adjusting, claims management, property, construction, building or trades.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and report-writing skills.
• A current driver’s licence and Australian/New Zealand work rights.
• Willingness to complete a police check and continue developing your expertise.

Responsibilities

• Manage property claims from notification through to settlement.
• Inspect damage, investigate causes and assess losses.
• Review coverage and make sound settlement recommendations.
• Coordinate trades, specialists and service providers.
• Manage reserves, costs and claim documentation.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain accurate records.
• Deliver timely, compliant and customer-focused outcomes.
