Crawford is seeking an External Claims Adjuster to make a meaningful impact across the Orange region, handling diverse commercial and domestic property claims from notification to settlement. You will work with autonomy within a regional team to build expertise and deliver positive outcomes for customers and clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in loss adjusting, claims management, property, construction, building or trades.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and report-writing skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and make sound decisions.
• Customer-focused approach with empathy and professionalism.
• Current driver’s licence and AU/NZ work rights.
• Willingness to complete a police check and continue developing your expertise.

Responsibilities

• Manage property claims from notification through to settlement.
• Inspect damage, investigate causes and assess losses.
• Review coverage and make sound settlement recommendations.
• Coordinate trades, specialists and service providers.
• Manage reserves, costs and claim documentation.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain accurate records.
• Deliver timely, compliant and customer-focused outcomes.
