Job summary

True Living in Sydney is seeking an Enrolled Nurse / Support Worker for a hybrid role focused on hands-on support and developing clinical skills in disability nursing.

You will work under the direction of our Clinical Nurse, gaining competency in medication administration and complex care tasks while supporting participants’ independence and goals. The role includes structured supervision, training, and CPD support.

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Motivated, friendly and genuinely caring.
• Takes initiative while knowing when to escalate to the RN.
• Strong team player with good communication skills.
• Confident communicating with health professionals and stakeholders.
• Australian working rights and valid driver’s licence.
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module “Quality, Safety and You” completed.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Working with Children Check.
• Experience in disability, community or aged care.
• Experience with high-intensity supports (e.g., PEG, catheter, stoma, diabetes, epilepsy management).

Responsibilities

• Support work is the core of the role, assisting participants with daily living and activities.
• Administer medications within EN scope once competency is assessed.
• Assist with complex care needs per individual care plans and escalation to RN.
• Monitor and report health changes to the RN promptly.
• Liaise with allied health professionals, GPs and families as needed.
