Job summary

EY in Perth is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager to lead our national Health, Safety and Wellbeing team. You will oversee engagements across Oceania, focusing on risk management, strategy, audits and culture change, guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver EY’s health and safety services.

The role supports flexible hours with a hybrid work model based in Perth, and opportunities to travel. Candidates with strong EHS backgrounds and client management skills will thrive.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of technical EHS experience in industry and/or consulting.
• Strong grounding in risk management fundamentals, WHS legislation, and management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel intra- and interstate as required.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, environmental or health sciences, human factors, safety science, or business.
• Exemplar Global auditor and Cert IV in Training and Assessment qualifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Managing a variety of engagements involving physical and psychosocial risk management, strategy, audit and analytical frameworks, culture change and leadership to help clients succeed.
• Fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment underpinned by coaching and development, while applying technical expertise of EHS to direct project delivery.
• Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with key business decision-makers, internally and externally.
• Identifying and communicating trends, developments, and key performance drivers relevant to the client and industry.
